Former First Lady Michelle Obama to visit Denver

Former First Lady Michelle Obama will visit Denver on Dec. 13 as part of a book tour.
Obama will speak at the Pepsi Center as part of a 10-city book tour that starts Nov. 13 in Chicago. She will talk about her life, which began as a child growing up in Chicago and took her to the White House with husband Barack Obama.
Her memoir, “Becoming,” will arrive in bookstores on Nov. 13.
It’s not her first visit to Colorado since leaving the White House. Obama also spoke in July 2017 at the Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s 30th anniversary in Denver.
Colorado has been largely friendly territory for the Obamas, helping put them in the White House in 2008 and 2012.
Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 at BecomingMichelleObama.com. There’s also a preregistration option that allows people to purchase tickets a day early. Information is available at ticketmaster.com.
